Are persons who by reason of their professional standing or special knowledge and integrity have contributed or are likely to contribute to the advancement, application and practice of forensic science / medicine. Such members have full voting rights and receive the journal of the Academy.
Associate Members
Subscription Fee £60.00
Are (1) persons qualified in Medicine, Science or the Law whose professional experience does not meet the criteria for election to full membership,
or (2) persons not qualified in one of the disciplines but engaged in a directly related activity. Such members may attend meetings and functions but not vote. They may be invited to serve on committees of the Academy where appropriate.
Student Membership
Subscription Fee £35.00
Procedure for election
Applicants for membership should be nominated by two members of the Academy (in the event of difficulty the Secretary General should be contacted), or a curriculum vitae may be sent for consideration. The application is considered by Council who may elect the applicant to the category which is considered appropriate.
